Level Up

My NEW BOOK, Level Up, is full of exercises to improve your Mental Toughness.

The exercises aim to enhance your emotional wellness and ability to deal with stress and challenges — many of which are based on coping strategies and techniques that I developed as a way to survive.

Research has shown mental toughness to be a buffer for depression and anxiety.

Research into the link between depression and mental toughness is in its infancy, but it is certainly showing a negative correlation. According to this study, having mental toughness has helped many people to keep the adverse mental health effects of the pandemic at bay. And this one supports the fact that mentally tough people are less likely to report depressive symptoms and high levels of stress.

Increasing your mental toughness and resilience is within your control, and when it comes to mental illness, we need to do everything within our control to reduce the recurrence and severity of episodes.
