About Michelle Ribeiro
Mental health-informed coach, author, speaker, and counselling psychology master’s student.
My path to this work
I came to this work through both professional study and personal experience.
For years, I lived with chronic stress, depression, pain, emotional overwhelm, and confusion about what was happening in my mind and body. Learning to understand these experiences through psychological, somatic, and nervous-system perspectives changed the direction of my life—and ultimately led me toward counselling psychology.
My experience does not mean I assume your story is the same as mine. It means I bring genuine empathy, humility, and respect for how complex change can be.
My style is warm, curious, honest, and practical.
I believe in compassion without passivity and accountability without shame.
My approach brings together psychological insight, practical coaching strategies, mind-body awareness, and compassionate accountability.
Experience I bring
Before entering the counselling field, I worked across the corporate, technology, writing, and film industries.
These experiences gave me firsthand insight into performance pressure, burnout, reinvention, and what it can feel like to appear capable on the outside while struggling internally.
I am also the published author of Level Up—a book about mental toughness and personal growth—and an experienced keynote speaker.
Today, I bring these experiences together in a more personal, integrative, and psychologically informed way.
